Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Lead Engineer – Planning with strong expertise in project planning and scheduling for Oil & Gas / Piping projects. The candidate must have hands-on experience in preparing and monitoring project schedules, tracking progress, delay analysis, resource planning, MIS, and project reporting using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
Note: Only candidates with core Project Planning experience will be considered.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project schedules and baseline plans.
Prepare project plans using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, subcontractors, and project teams to integrate activities into the master schedule.
Monitor project progress against planned schedules and identify delays, deviations, and critical path activities.
Perform delay analysis and maintain relevant planning records and registers.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and MIS.
Prepare and monitor resource plans for manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
Support preparation of cash flow statements and job cost reports to monitor project health.
Identify schedule-related risks and develop mitigation and recovery plans.
Evaluate the impact of changes in scope, resources, and schedules.
Review tender and contract documents and prepare planning-related summaries.
Ensure proper documentation and support timely project completion and handover.
Requirements
B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering – Mandatory
Minimum 10 years of experience in Project Planning
Robust experience in Oil & Gas and/or Piping projects
Hands-on experience with Primavera P6 and/or MS Pr
