Specialist: Software Engineering (Benchling Engineer)

This role is based at our Hyderabad Tech Center and follows a hybrid working model (3 days onsite, 2 days remote). Candidates are expected to reside within commuting distance of the Hyderabad office.
Role Overview:
The Benchling Engineer (R2) designs, configures, develops, and evolves Benchling capabilities for the Sample & Reagent Inventory Product Line.
The role delivers scalable solutions that enable laboratory sample registration, tracking, inventory, workflows, and related research processes.
This is a hands-on software engineering role requiring direct Benchling Apps development experience. The engineer uses Benchling Python SDK and REST APIs to build platform capabilities, integrates Benchling with enterprise and laboratory systems, and applies approved AI-enabled tools to improve development quality, automation, and engineering productivity.
