ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for an experienced High-Performance Computing (HPC) Administrator to manage, optimize and maintain large-scale Linux-based compute clusters for scientific, engineering and AI workloads.
MUST-HAVE SKILLS
• Strong Linux Administration – RHEL/SLES/Ubuntu
• HPC / Data Center administration experience
• Slurm and/or PBS Pro
• InfiniBand networking – HDR/NDR
• HPE Performance Cluster Manager (HPCM), Bright Cluster Manager or equivalent
• Bash / Python / Ansible scripting
• Linux OS, filesystems, kernel modules & networking
• SSH, NFS, DNS, DHCP, LDAP and related services
• Networking tools: ping, tcpdump, traceroute
• Understanding of OSI model




• Git / Version Control
• HPE ProLiant Gen10/Gen11 preferred
MONITORING & AUTOMATION
• Grafana, Prometheus, Nagios or OpsRamp
• Cluster provisioning, health checks & performance tuning
• OS image deployment and firmware updates
• Automation using Bash, Python and Ansible
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Administer Linux compute and login nodes
• Manage HPC schedulers and optimize job throughput
• Monitor and troubleshoot InfiniBand fabrics
• Maintain cluster availability, scalability and performance
• Implement automation, monitoring and security controls
• Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and cluster issues
