Overview
The LATAM OPEX Deputy Manager plays a key role in managing the end-to-end cross-charge process, partnering closely with FP&A; teams, market stakeholders, and controllership to ensure the accuracy and completeness of all cross-charge transactions. The role is responsible for collecting, validating, and consolidating required supporting information, ensuring appropriate cost allocations, adherence to accounting policies, and timely posting of journal entries. In addition, the Deputy Manager monitors cross-charge balances, investigates variances, resolves discrepancies with stakeholders, and supports month-end close activities to ensure financial records are accurate, compliant, and reflective of business operations. The role also drives process improvements, strengthens governance controls.
Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end cross-charge activities for LATAM OPEX.
Partner with FP&A;, controllership, and business teams to validate charge allocations and supporting documentation.
Ensure completeness, accuracy,
and timely posting of cross-charge journal entries.
Monitor cross-charge balances, investigate variances, and resolve reconciliation issues.
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes while maintaining compliance with accounting and governance requirements.
Drive process standardization, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives across the cross-charge process.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (Master’s degree is a plus)
Minimum 4 years of relevant finance experience
Solid FP&A; skills with experience in forecasting and planning cycles
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling) and PowerPoint, with the ability to learn new software applications
Experience with IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) is a plus
Comfortable working across cross-functional teams with some multicultural experience
