Role Description The Account Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This role involves supporting day-to-day accounting operations, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, handling petty cash, and assisting with reconciliations. The Account Assistant will help monitor credit control activities, prepare basic financial reports, and support compliance with internal processes and documentation requirements.



The role also includes coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders, responding to queries, and ensuring accurate and timely entry of financial data.
Qualifications

Candidates should possess accounting-related skills, including Accounting and familiarity with basic Finance concepts.
Candidates should possess cash management skills, including experience handling Petty Cash and maintaining accurate cash records.
Candidates should possess credit management skills, including Credit Control and monitoring outstanding receivables.
Candidates should possess strong Communication skills for coordinating with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
Relevant academic background such as a diploma or degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and familiarity with accounting software will be beneficial.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
