About the Role
Every feature that goes to a tenant passes through your checklist first. You own the release
defect escape rate, the feature review turnaround, and the UX debt register. You work
directly with the engineering team and the Operations Manager to ship quality at velocity.
What You'll Do
• Own the release gate for every feature on the SaaS platform and the media-engine
infrastructure
• Run feature reviews with a sub-48-hour turnaround
• Maintain the UX debt register (kept current, reviewed weekly with the team)
• Run pre-release QA: functional, cross-device, regression, UX heuristics, data/privacy
• Coach the engineering team on UX and QA standards
• Report quality metrics weekly to the Operations Manager
What We're Looking For (Must-Have)
• 4-6 years of manual QA testing experience
• Has owned a release gate before (has blocked releases for quality reasons and earned
the team's respect for it)
• Robust functional testing, regression testing, and cross-device testing skills
• UX heuristics knowledge — can spot a broken IA, a missing empty state,



an
inaccessible flow
• Data and privacy awareness — knows what touches tenant isolation and treats it as a
release blocker
• Has worked in SaaS environments with frequent releases
• AI-native tooling awareness — uses AI to accelerate test work, not replace judgement
What We're Looking For (Preferred)
• Test automation experience (Playwright, Cypress, or similar)
• Multi-tenant SaaS QA experience
• Has managed a small QA team
• Experience with AI/ML products
