About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented WordPress Developer / IT Support Specialist to join our team at Mervix Technology Pvt Ltd on a full time basis. This hybrid role combines hands-on WordPress development with IT support for US-based clients. You will work closely with senior developers, designers, and support engineers to build, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, while also handling client-facing technical support and troubleshooting.
This role is suited for candidates with 1–2 years of relevant experience who are confident working independently on both website development tasks and IT support operations, with minimal supervision.

Important Note on Location:
This position is currently based out of our Coimbatore office.



Please note that the organization will be relocating this office to Bangalore by November/December, as per business needs and requirements. Candidates must be willing and able to relocate to Bangalore accordingly.

Key Responsibilities

WordPress Development

Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites and themes.
Build and modify WordPress themes and plugins using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Implement responsive and cross-browser-compatible designs from UI/UX mockups and wireframes.
Integrate third-party plugins, APIs, and services into WordPress platforms.
Perform website updates, content management, and routine performance optimizations.
Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, layout issues, and plugin conflicts across websites.
Apply SEO best practices including meta tags, sitemaps, and page speed improvements.
Collaborate with the design team to ensure visual consistency and brand alignment.
