The Team You’ll Join

The Database Administration team at Envestnet is responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, security, and operational readiness of the production databases that power our Wealth platforms. As a Junior DBA (Jr DBA), you’ll join a collaborative, cross-functional group that monitors database health, responds to incidents, supports releases and upgrades, and enforces secure,



compliant operations across a large MS SQL Server estate. You’ll work alongside senior engineers who will guide your growth as you build foundational knowledge of our database platforms, monitoring practices, and operational support processes—while contributing directly to the day-to-day stability of the environments our advisors rely on.

How You’ll Contribute

As a Database Administrator I at the P1 (Qualified I) level, you’ll build foundational knowledge of database platforms, data structures, operational support processes, and monitoring concepts for assigned Wealth platform environments. With guidance from senior team members, you will:

Monitor the health of MS SQL Server instances across multiple production and non-production environments—including alerts, jobs, replication status, and basic performance indicators—to identify issues or early signs of degradation.
Perform routine database support tasks
