Role Description The Zendesk Developer role is a full-time remote position responsible for designing, configuring, and maintaining Zendesk-based solutions that support customer service and support operations. Day-to-day tasks include building and customizing workflows, triggers, automations, and apps within Zendesk; integrating Zendesk with other systems and APIs; and optimizing ticket routing, reporting, and user experiences. The role involves collaborating with support, product, and engineering teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues,



and implement enhancements. The Zendesk Developer will also monitor performance, ensure data integrity, and contribute to documentation and best practices for the platform.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
Experience in Back-End Web Development and Software Development, particularly building and maintaining APIs and integrations.
Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), using languages commonly applied to Zendesk apps and integrations (such as JavaScript, Python, or Ruby).
Hands-on experience configuring and customizing Zendesk (or similar customer support platforms), including workflows, triggers, macros, and reporting.
Knowledge of RESTful APIs, webhooks, and authentication methods (e.g., OAuth, token-based authentication).
