SAP S/4HANA Functional Analyst for Fixed Assets

Key Areas of Expertise
SAP S/4HANA Fixed Assets Accounting (FI-AA)
Project Systems (PS) – general knowledge, but we use Apptio and Anaplan
Capital project accounting and capitalization processes
Asset lifecycle management and depreciation
Project budgeting, cost tracking, settlements, and WBS structures
Financial reporting and accounting controls
Cross-functional integrations with Finance, HR, Procurement, and other enterprise systems
What They Will Do
Partner with Accounting and Finance teams to gather and document business requirements.
Translate business needs into functional specifications and system solutions.
Support enhancements, projects, and production support activities related to Fixed Assets and Project Systems.
Participate in solution design, testing, defect resolution, and deployment activities.
Validate end-to-end business processes including asset acquisitions, asset under construction (AuC), depreciation, project cost management, settlements, and capitalization.




Collaborate with SAP technical teams, integration teams, and external implementation partners to deliver business capabilities.
Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and standardization across finance processes.
Support month-end and year-end activities and assist with audit and compliance requirements.
Ideal Candidate
A strong candidate will have deep functional knowledge of SAP Fixed Assets and Project Systems, a solid understanding of accounting principles, experience supporting large-scale ERP initiatives, and the ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical stakeholders.
