We are looking for a hands-on, detail-driven Assistant Manager – Controllership to strengthen the finance controllership function of a fast-growing business. This role sits at the core of the finance function and centers on owning the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of the company’s books, driving reconciliations and balance sheet hygiene, and ensuring the business stays compliant and audit-ready as it scales.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Month-End Closure
Drive timely, accurate month-end closure — reviewing journal entries, provisions, accruals, and prepaid expenses — while ensuring correct revenue and cost recognition and maintaining supporting schedules.

Reconciliations & Balance Sheet Controls
Perform and review bank, vendor,



customer, and payment gateway reconciliations; drive balance sheet substantiation and ageing reviews; and resolve discrepancies and unusual balances.

AP & AR Oversight
Monitor AP/AR accounting and reconciliations, ensure accurate vendor and customer balances, and strengthen controls around invoices, payments, and collections.

Statutory Compliance
Support timely GST and TDS compliance, coordinate with tax consultants and auditors, and maintain audit-ready documentation.

Financial Controls & Audit
Implement and monitor finance controls, support statutory and internal audits, and drive process improvements and automation.

Reporting & MIS
Prepare periodic financial reports and MIS schedules, supporting P&L;, balance sheet, and cash-flow reporting for finance leadership.

Must-Have:
