Role Description The Design and Development Engineer will work on the full lifecycle of automotive components, from concept and design through prototyping, testing, and refinement. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and reviewing mechanical and product designs, preparing 3D models and drawings, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and supporting the transition from design to manufacturing.



The role involves conducting performance and durability tests on components, documenting findings, and proposing design improvements based on test results and R&D; insights. The engineer will also support ongoing research and development initiatives, explore new materials or processes, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering and Machine Design, with the ability to apply core engineering principles to automotive components.
Proficiency in Product Design and development, including 3D CAD modeling and creating detailed engineering drawings.
Experience with Testing and validation of mechanical parts or systems, including analysis of performance, reliability, and safety.
Background in Research and Development (R&D;), with skills in concept evaluation, prototyping, and iterative design improvement
