About the Job
We are looking for an experienced E3D Electrical Designer to support detailed electrical design and drafting activities for onshore and offshore facilities. The role will work closely with the Lead/Principal Electrical Engineer and coordinate with Mechanical, Structural and Instrumentation disciplines to deliver high-quality, clash-free electrical design deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and update electrical layouts and 2D/3D models covering electrical equipment, lighting, small power, earthing, lightning protection and cable tray routing.
Develop Single Line Diagrams (SLD), wiring/schematic diagrams, interconnection diagrams and termination drawings.
Prepare lighting looping drawings, cable routing plans, MTOs/BOMs and material take-offs.
Develop electrical equipment layouts for switch rooms, topside modules and industrial facilities.
Ensure designs comply with project/client specifications and applicable IEC, IEEE, IS and BS standards.




Develop clash-free cable routing and electrical layouts using AVEVA E3D/PDMS/SP3D or similar 3D design software.
Participate in design/model reviews and close electrical layout and cable-routing review comments.
Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to resolve design interfaces and constructability issues.
Support site queries, incorporate red-marked/as-built information and maintain final electrical documentation.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
5+ years of experience in electrical design/drafting for Oil & Gas, Offshore, Power Plant, EPC or similar industrial projects.
Hands-on experience in AVEVA E3D is preferred/required depending on project requirements.
Experience with AutoCAD, PDMS, SP3D and/or MicroStation will be an advantage.
