About the Role
Rio Clays Private Limited is looking for an experienced QA Chemist to join its Quality Assurance/Quality Control team. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and consistency of raw materials, in-process materials and finished mineral products through chemical and physical testing, quality monitoring and proper documentation.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in chemical analysis, laboratory testing and quality control, preferably within the minerals, ceramics, chemicals, clay, kaolin, feldspar or other process-manufacturing industries.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Testing & Analysis
Conduct physical and chemical analysis of raw materials, in-process samples and finished products.
Perform testing as per approved specifications, SOPs and customer requirements.
Analyse mineral samples and monitor key quality parameters.




Ensure accurate sampling, testing and recording of results.
Identify deviations in test results and immediately communicate them to the concerned team.
Maintain consistency and reliability of laboratory test results.

Raw Material & Process Quality
Inspect and test incoming raw materials such as kaolin, ball clay, feldspar and other mineral materials.
Monitor quality parameters at different stages of the manufacturing process.
Conduct regular production-line/batch sampling.
Coordinate with the Production team to identify and control quality variations.
Monitor batch-to-batch consistency and investigate abnormal variations.

Finished Product Quality
Test finished products against approved product specifications.
Verify product quality before release and dispatch.
Prepare and maintain test reports and Certificates of Analysis (COA), wherever required.
