Role Description This is a full time, on-site role based in Delhi, India for a Signage and Wayfinding Designer. The role involves designing clear, functional, and visually coherent signage and wayfinding systems for a variety of built environments, including commercial, residential, and public spaces. The designer will develop concepts, layout plans, and design guidelines, coordinate design details with facade and interior teams, and produce drawings and specifications for fabrication and installation. Responsibilities include conducting site studies and user flow analysis, preparing presentation materials, collaborating with branding and architectural stakeholders, and ensuring that signage systems meet accessibility, safety, and regulatory standards. The role also requires monitoring design implementation on-site, reviewing shop drawings and samples, and supporting quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
Strong skills in signage and wayfinding design, including spatial planning, information hierarchy, and user journey mapping.
Proficiency in design and documentation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop), AutoCAD, and preferably Revit or other 3D visualization software.
Experience in environmental graphic design, branding integration, and visual communication for built environments.
Knowledge of materials, fabrication processes, installation methods, and durability requirements for interior and exterior signage.
Understanding of accessibility guidelines, safety standards, building codes, and best practices for legibility and visibility.
Strong research, problem-solving, and conceptual design skills with the ability to translate complex information into clear visual systems.
Effective collaboration and communication skills to work with architects, engineers, project managers, and clients.
