Eaton's Electrical Engineering Services & Systems division is seeking a Lead Software Engineer for its Advanced Distribution Planning System (ADPS) platform, based in Pune, India. As part of a multidisciplinary development team, the Lead Software Engineer will lead the design, development, and evolution of the next generation of Eaton’s cloud-native ADPS platform used for the analysis and modeling of electricity distribution networks and renewable energy systems.
We are looking for a highly motivated Lead Software Engineer with strong expertise in C#, .NET, Azure Cloud, microservices, and SaaS platform development. The role requires a strong technical leader who can drive architecture-level decisions while remaining hands-on in the design and implementation of scalable, secure, reliable,



and high-performance platform solutions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate architectural thinking, solid analytical and problem-solving skills, and a passion for mentoring engineers, driving engineering excellence, continuous improvement, and innovation across the software development lifecycle.
• Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of core ADPS platform services using modern C# and .NET.
• Lead the design and development of cloud-native ADPS solutions leveraging C++, .NET, Azure, and AKS technologies.
• Drive end-to-end solution delivery, including platform architecture, backend services, engine integration, performance optimization, and scalable cloud deployment.
• Analyze product requirements, technical specifications, and engineering use cases to define scalable and secure solutions.
• Own the technical direction of assigned platform components, services, and integration interf
