We're hiring one engineer. Three months. Contract. Remote, India-based.
We're not going to tell you what we're building.
We have spent twenty-one years building learning solutions for enterprises across the GCC, India, Africa, US and Europe. Profitable, founder-led, and now building software of our own. I'm looking for one senior engineer to lay the technical foundation before the permanent team arrives.
Why the secrecy: it's a competitive category and we're keeping it quiet until launch. Shortlisted candidates get the full technical brief under Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA). It's unusually detailed, including an honest account of the hardest problems in the project, because I'd rather you know what you're taking on.
What we can say now. It's an AI-native, multi-tenant platform with a demanding generation pipeline, a metered commercial model, and hard requirements on output quality, accessibility and internationalisation. The data contract you design has to survive years of product change without breaking anything already shipped to a customer.
What you'd need:




➡️ 8+ years shipping production software other people depended on
➡️ 2+ years with large language models in production, not in prototypes
➡️ Reliable structured output from LLMs at scale: a schema-valid first-pass rate you personally owned and improved
➡️ Strong TypeScript/Node and strong Python. The role spans both, and neither half can be handed off
➡️ Deep PostgreSQL: JSONB, transaction isolation, row-level security
➡️ AWS and Terraform owned end to end, without support
Helpful: durable workflow orchestration, RAG and evaluation harness design, cost accounting, usage-based billing, WCAG 2.1 AA and right-to-left languages.
What this is not: no model training, no fine-tuning, no GPUs, no ML research. Inference is via hosted APIs.
The engagement: three months, full time equivalent, with strong potential to extend into the full build or a permanent leadership role. Fully remote, but India-based only. You must
