Role Description The Pathology Coder will be responsible for accurately assigning CPT, ICD, and HCPCS codes to pathology reports and related clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with payer guidelines and regulatory standards. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing lab and pathology records, validating documentation against coding rules,



and entering codes into billing or RCM systems to support timely claims submission. The role involves collaborating with pathology staff, billing teams, and denials management specialists to resolve coding-related issues and reduce claim rejections. The Pathology Coder will also monitor coding updates, maintain knowledge of payer policies, and participate in ongoing quality audits to improve coding accuracy and workflow efficiency. This is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi.
Qualifications

Solid knowledge of pathology coding, including CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes, with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
Experience in healthcare revenue cycle processes, including claims submission, AR follow-up, and denials management.
Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems, laboratory information systems, and coding/billing software.
Ability to interpret clinical and pathology documentation, including lab results, biopsy repo
