About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Senior Admission Counsellor to join our Premium Study Abroad team in Chennai.
The role involves counselling prospective students and parents, understanding their study-abroad aspirations, and guiding them towards the right international education opportunities while driving admissions and revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students and parents on international education programs, universities, courses, and destinations.
- Understand student profiles, career goals, academic background, and financial considerations to provide personalized guidance.
- Manage leads through the complete sales funnel, from initial counselling to conversion and enrolment.
- Drive conversions through consultative selling, effective follow-ups, and solid objection handling.




- Handle premium/high-value student profiles while maintaining a high standard of customer experience.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly admission and revenue targets.
- Build strong relationships with students and parents throughout the decision-making journey.
- Maintain accurate lead and activity records in the CRM.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth application and enrolment journey.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve conversion and customer experience.

Requirements
- 2–6 years of relevant experience in Study Abroad, Overseas Education, EdTech, or consultative sales.
- Proven track record of achieving sales/admission targets.
- Strong knowledge of international education and study-abroad counselling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong counselling, negotiation, objection-handling, and closing skills.
- Ability to work in a target-driven and fast-paced environment.
