Job Description

Senior Technical Lead

Location: Bangalore
Employment Type: Full Time, India

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-grade payment solutions using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot based REST APIs.
- Drive end-to-end feature development from concept and design through implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Design and develop scalable microservices architectures supporting high-volume payment processing systems.
- Work with PostgreSQL and other relational databases, while leveraging MongoDB or other NoSQL databases where appropriate.
- Lead engineering effort estimation, implementation planning, and rollout activities for applications integrating with cross-functional systems and platforms.
- Design, develop, and test major features while collaborating within Agile Scrum teams.
- Utilize GitHub repositories, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments to enable efficient software delivery and operational excellence.
- Implement and optimize distributed systems architectures, including caching strategies and performance improvements where applicable.




- Develop and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (K8S).
- Design, develop, support, and maintain applications throughout all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Create innovative and scalable solutions that meet business needs with respect to functionality, performance, reliability, security, and scalability.
- Participate actively in architecture discussions, design reviews, and code review processes to ensure engineering quality.
- Develop testing frameworks, automation solutions, infrastructure, and test cases to ensure product quality and stability.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, promote engineering best practices, and lead technical initiatives across teams.
- Identify project risks proactively and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex stability, scalability, and performance issues in highly time-critical production environments.
- Build effective and resilient systems capable of operating within complex payment ecosystems and transaction processing environments.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is an experienced technology leader with 8-12 years of software engineering experience, including extensive exposure to the Payments domain. You possess strong expertise in Java-based backend development, microservices architecture, cloud-native technologies, and modern DevOps practices.

You have a proven track record of delivering enterprise-scale applications, leading engineering teams, and driving technical excellence across the software development lifecycle. Your ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions enables you to deliver secure, reliable, and high-performing payment systems.

Core Competencies Required

- Java Spring Ecosystem: Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and REST API development.
