Position: Canteen Chef
Location: Care Hospital, Varanasi

We are looking for an experienced Canteen Chef to manage day-to-day food preparation and kitchen operations for our hospital canteen. The role involves preparing food for both patient meal services and canteen counter sales, while maintaining quality, hygiene and cost control.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare hygienic and consistent meals for patients, including routine hospital diets as required.
- Prepare breakfast, snacks and meals for counter sale to staff, attendants and visitors.
- Plan daily preparation and coordinate work with other canteen staff.
- Maintain food quality, taste, portion sizes and presentation.
- Control food costs, wastage and consumption of raw materials.
- Monitor kitchen stock and communicate purchase requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness, food safety and kitchen hygiene standards.
- Help improve menu items and ensure smooth day-to-day canteen operations.





Candidate Requirements:

- Prior experience as a Chef/Cook in a hospital, institutional canteen, hotel, restaurant or similar setup.
- Good knowledge of Indian food preparation.
- Ability to handle bulk cooking and multiple meal requirements.
- Responsible, disciplined and capable of managing a kitchen team.
- Understanding of food costing and wastage control preferred.

Experience: 3+ years preferred
