Key Responsibilities

EHS & Safety

- Implement and monitor EHS policies, procedures, and safety programs.
- Conduct workplace inspections, safety audits, risk assessments, and hazard identification.
- Ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Conduct safety induction, toolbox talks, emergency drills, and EHS training.
- Investigate accidents, near misses, unsafe conditions, and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure proper PPE usage and compliance with protected work practices.
- Maintain EHS records, permits, registers, reports, and statutory documentation.
- Coordinate contractor safety and permit-to-work activities.
- Monitor fire safety, emergency preparedness, and evacuation procedures.

Environmental Management ETP / STP / ZLD

- Monitor and coordinate the operation and compliance of Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), and Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) systems.
- Ensure treated effluent meets applicable regulatory standards and consent conditions.
- Monitor key parameters such as pH, COD, BOD, TSS, TDS, conductivity, flow, and other applicable parameters.
- Maintain daily records of ETP/STP/ZLD operation, chemical consumption,



sludge generation, water balance, and disposal.
- Coordinate sampling and testing of treated effluent, sewage, sludge, and other environmental parameters.
- Monitor RO, MEE, evaporator, ATFD/crystallizer, and associated ZLD systems where applicable.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of sludge, hazardous waste, and other process wastes.
- Support water conservation, wastewater reduction, recycling, and reuse initiatives.
- Coordinate with authorized laboratories, environmental consultants, and regulatory authorities.
- Support environmental audits, inspections, consent renewals, and compliance reporting.
- Identify deviations in ETP/STP/ZLD performance and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions.
