Resource Requirements

The requested resources should possess the following qualifications:

- Solid Mainframe expertise across:
- Application Development
- Testing and Quality Assurance
- Solution Architecture
- Infrastructure and Platform Support

- Hands-on experience with FIS Core Banking platforms and applications
- Experience supporting and enhancing mainframe-based customizations within banking environments
- Financial services and core banking domain experience is highly desirable

Skills:

1. Hardware & Operating Systems

Hardware: IBM zSystems (z16, z15, z14), Parallel Sysplex, LPARs.

OS: IBM z/OS (v2.4 to v3.1), z/VM.

2. Databases & Data Management

Relational DB: IBM Db2 for z/OS (v12/v13).

Hierarchical / Legacy DB: IBM IMS/DB, CA IDMS.

File Systems: VSAM (KSDS, ESDS, RRDS),



QSAM (critical for FIS core master files).

Replication / CDC: IBM DataStage, Apache Kafka, Q-Replication.

3. Application & Integration Stack

Languages: Enterprise COBOL (v6.x), HLASM (Assembler for exits/macros), JCL, PL/I, REXX.

Transaction & Middleware: IBM CICS TS (v5.6/v6.x), IBM MQ, z/OS Connect EE (REST/API enablement).

FIS Applications: FIS Systematics (IMPACS, ALS, ST, RM), FIS ACBS.

4. Tools, DevOps & Infrastructure

Testing & Debugging: BMC Xpediter, IBM z/OS Debugger, CA InterTest.

Scheduling: Control-M, CA-7 / CA-11, IBM IWS.

SCM / Deployment: ChangeMan ZMF, CA Endevor, Git for z/OS.

Monitoring & Utilities: IBM OMEGAMON, SyncSort/DFSORT, File Manager.
