ROLE DESCRIPTION

This position is with the Program Management team and shall be responsible for contributing towards building new products, upgrading existing products, solutions, and Project lifecycle creation and implementation of the projects.

QUALIFICATION

The candidate must be a Graduate or Postgraduate in Mechanical or Electrical or Electronics or Automotive or similar stream, with 6 - 8 years of development experience in Mechanical, Electronics Hardware Software or Electrical or Automotive systems or in equivalent fields.

Preferable - Graduate Engineer from a premier institute such as IITs, NITs, IIMs, or other reputed institutes, with 6 - 8 years of relevant experience.

Job Location: Bangalore (Whitefield)

Job Type: Full Time | Day Shift | Permanent Job

Working Days: 5 Days in weekly

Salary: Rs.20,00,000 to 30,00,000 LPA

ROLES RESPONSIBILITIES

- Establish the Charter with Program plan budget considering all the requirements as per MRD PRD.
- Collect prepare the Program documentation (MRD, PRD, Requirement documents, Charter) for the Program Lead and conducts review meeting on these topics when necessary.
- Conduct regular reviews with CFT and track the program progress for a smooth launch of RD projects products. (Daily/Weekly).
- Ensure the regular update of project updates with documentations.
- Manage specific internal topics upon request from the Program Lead (such as parts development and delivery).
- Plan Design Reviews according to the program plan to complete DRD for all product SOPs.
- Support the CFT in achieving the milestones according to the Program scheduling Plan.
- Manage the core team and ensure cooperation with the functions and the production.




- Communicate and report relevant program status to secure proper management support on program issues risks.
- MIS reporting - budget, tasks, strategies- Plan Vs Actuals for all product verticals Programs.
- Ensure that program experience is capitalized in knowledge management to improve future programs performance.

Preferred Skills Qualifications

- Good understanding of Electric Vehicles (EVs), charging protocols, and battery swapping technology.
- Good knowledge of Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC) and APQP processes.
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Robust data analytics and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret and analyze data effectively.
- Strong reasoning, analytical, and logical problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
- Good understanding and experience in Program Management, particularly within a matrix organization.
- Experience managing complex programs/projects in Tier-1 automotive companies or OEMs.
- Hands-on experience in the development of prototypes and engineering tools, including mechanical components and PCBs.
- Ability to anticipate risks, identify potential issues, and drive timely mitigation actions.
- Strong sense of accountability, ownership, and transparency.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and take quick, informed decisions when required.
- Good speaker and keen listener, with strong stakeholder-management skills.
- Go-getter attitude, self-motivated, proactive, and willing to take on additional responsibilities.

Certifications

- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is preferred/required.
- PRINCE2 certification is preferred/required.
