Audit & Assurance (Backend)Role Objective: To supervise backend audit operations, ensure audit quality and compliance, support audit planning and execution, and act as a key link between Managers, Team Leaders, and audit teams.

1. Backend Audit Planning & SupervisionPlan and supervise backend audit activities across engagements.Allocate work to backend teams and monitor progress against timelines.Ensure audit readiness in coordination with Team Leaders.

2. Client & Branch Associate CoordinationSupport Managers in client communication and audit confirmations.Resolve backend coordination issues with branches and audit teams.Ensure timely responses to client and internal queries.

3. Team Leadership & Guide teamGuide Team Leaders and backend staff on audit procedures and SOPs.Conduct process briefings and clarify audit scope, formats, and man-days.Provide on-the-job training and support to backend teams.

4. Audit Quality & ComplianceReview backend audit working papers, reconciliations, and documentation.Ensure compliance with auditing standards, firm methodology, and SOPs.Minimize review notes and rework through quality control.

Infrastructure & Logistics Overlooking Oversee infrastructure, travel, and fund arrangements for audit locations.Ensure backend support enables smooth audit execution without delays.

6. Pre-Audit & Audit Day MonitoringEnsure pre-audit communications and SOH confirmations are completed on time.Monitor audit day progress and ensure timely status updates.Support resolution of on-day audit issues.

7. Audit Closure & Documentation ControlEnsure same-day audit sign-off and receipt of all supporting documents.Review scan rate sheets, WBC details, and audit schedules for completeness.

8. MIS & ReportingReview and consolidate audit MIS, trackers, and backend reports.Share status updates and exceptions with Managers regularly.

9. Escalation Identify risks, delays, or non-compliance and escalate proactively.Support corrective actions to avoid audit disruptions.

10. Process Improvement & EfficiencyIdentify gaps in backend processes and suggest improvements.Support automation, standardization, and best practices.
