Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer II (Java) with robust hands-on expertise in Java-based backend development. The candidate should be capable of independently designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining scalable applications and services. The role requires strong programming fundamentals, sound database knowledge, and the ability to take ownership of modules from requirement analysis through production support.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications using Java Understand business and product requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Take end-to-end ownership of assigned modules and features.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, backend services, and microservices.
- Participate in design reviews, system design discussions, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making.
- Write clean, reusable, efficient,



and maintainable Java code following coding standards, design principles, and software development best practices.
- Participate in CI/CD, deployment, application monitoring, and production support activities.
- Implement appropriate authentication, authorization, validation, exception handling, and secure coding practices.
- Develop unit and integration tests to ensure application reliability and code quality.
- Identify and resolve application performance issues, production defects, and technical bottlenecks.
- Perform code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback to team members.
- Maintain technical documentation, API documentation, and design documentation. Evaluate and adopt suitable technologies, libraries, and development practices where required.
