- Bachelors / Diploma in Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
- 5 to 7 years EHS experience in chemical plants handling solvents & hazardous chemicals
Technical Expertise Required
- Safety management systems, RCA & CAPA
- Hazard identification in chemical, mechanical & electrical processes
- Knowledge of ISO 45001, OSHA & regulatory compliance
- Ability to interpret safety data sheets (SDS) & technical documents
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, review & implement safety policies, emergency protocols, and safety-first culture
- Conduct risk assessments, Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), and corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, ISO 45001 & regulatory norms; perform audits & inspections
- Investigate incidents, near misses, prepare reports & root cause analysis
- Organize safety training, toolbox talks & awareness sessions on PPE, fire safety & chemicals
- Monitor daily operations, track safety KPIs & present reports to management
