Responsibilities

- Conduct OPD consultations and evaluate patients with acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Diagnose and manage common medical and lifestyle-related disorders.
- Review laboratory investigations, imaging reports, and other diagnostic findings.
- Develop appropriate treatment plans and provide follow-up care.
- Identify patients requiring specialist referral or inpatient admission and coordinate accordingly.
- Manage medical emergencies within the scope of practice and escalate critical cases appropriately.
- Counsel patients and attendants regarding diagnosis, treatment, medication, and lifestyle modifications.
- Coordinate with specialists and other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, NABH standards, infection control, and patient safety protocols.
- Participate in clinical discussions and quality initiatives as required.

Qualifications





- MBBS with MD / DNB in General Medicine Valid NMC / State Medical Council Registration
- Relevant clinical/consultant experience preferred.
- Experience in a multispecialty hospital is an added advantage.
