Role: Software Development Engineer II (Frontend - App Platform)

About:
We are looking for an SDE-2 Frontend Engineer who specializes in building scalable
frontend platforms for applications, including boilerplate setups, offline-first architecture,
and advanced state management. This role focuses on enabling rapid app development and
ensuring seamless user experience even in low or no network conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

Frontend Platform & Architecture
- Design and maintain reusable frontend boilerplate for launching new applications
- Define scalable frontend architecture patterns
- Standardize code structure, routing, theming, and shared components

Offline-First & Resilience
- Build offline-first applications that work without internet connectivity
- Implement local storage strategies (IndexedDB, local storage, caching layers)
- Handle sync mechanisms when network is restored
- Design conflict resolution strategies for offline data

State Management
- Architect robust state management systems (Redux, Zustand, MobX, Context API)

- Manage complex state across modules and ensure data consistency
- Optimize performance for large-scale applications

Performance & UX




- Optimize rendering and load performance
- Ensure smooth UX in constrained environments (low bandwidth, low-end devices)

API Integration
- Design resilient API handling layers with retries, caching, fallback strategies
- Handle async workflows and error states gracefully

Testing & Quality
- Write unit and integration tests for frontend systems
- Ensure reliability of offline flows and edge cases

Leadership & Ownership
- Lead frontend architecture decisions
- Mentor SDE-1 engineers
- Collaborate with backend, product, and design teams

Skills:

Core Frontend
- Strong in Flutter
- Solid TypeScript and modern JavaScript

State Management
- Deep expertise in Redux / Zustand / MobX

Offline & Performance
- Experience with offline-first apps
- Knowledge of caching strategies and sync mechanisms

Tools
- Webpack / Vite / build tooling
- Testing libraries (Jest, RTL)

Nice to Have:
- Experience building internal frontend platforms
- Experience with PWA or mobile app architectures
- Knowledge of service workers and background sync
