Role & responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager- Tendering & Estimation with strong hands-on experience in Data Center and Turnkey Interior projects. The candidate will be responsible for tender evaluation, quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, estimation, rate analysis, vendor/subcontractor costing, and preparation of competitive techno-commercial bids.

The ideal candidate should have prior experience working on Data Center projects and turnkey interior/fit-out projects, with a solid understanding of civil, architectural, finishing, and allied works.

Key Responsibilities

- Review tender enquiries, drawings, specifications, BOQs, scope of work, and commercial conditions.
- Study architectural, civil, structural, interior, and MEP drawings for tender preparation.
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and BOQs from tender drawings and technical documents.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil, interior, finishing, and allied works.
- Conduct rate analysis for materials, labour, subcontractor works, equipment, wastage, overheads, and margins.
- Prepare techno-commercial bids and complete tender documentation.
- Obtain, evaluate, and negotiate quotations from vendors, suppliers, subcontractors, and specialist agencies.
- Prepare commercial comparison statements and vendor/subcontractor rate comparisons.
- Identify scope gaps, exclusions, assumptions, deviations, and commercial risks.
- Coordinate with Design, Projects, Procurement, Planning, Contracts, and Commercial teams.
- Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, client discussions, and technical clarifications.
- Prepare tender summaries, cost sheets, bid comparisons, and management approval notes.
- Support post-tender negotiations and client clarifications.
- Develop value engineering and cost optimization proposals.
- Maintain historical cost databases,



material rates, labour rates, vendor quotations, and subcontractor rates.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of tenders within client requirements and deadlines.

Preferred candidate profile

Mandatory Project Experience

Candidates must have prior hands-on experience in:

- Data Center Projects Mandatory
- Turnkey Interior / Interior Fit-Out Projects Mandatory
- Civil & Interior Turnkey Projects
- Commercial Office Interiors
- Industrial / Corporate Fit-Out Projects
- MEP & Allied Works

Experience in Data Center construction, Interior fit-out, refurbishment, or interior projects will be highly preferred.

Desired Candidate Profile

- 5 -10 years of relevant experience in tendering, estimation, costing, or quantity surveying.
- Mandatory prior experience in Data Center and Turnkey Interior projects.
- Strong knowledge of civil, interior, finishing, and fit-out works.
- Ability to independently interpret architectural, civil, structural, interior, and MEP drawings.
- Strong experience in BOQ preparation, QTO, rate analysis, estimation, and costing.
- Experience in obtaining and evaluating vendor/subcontractor quotations.
- Good understanding of tender procedures, commercial conditions, exclusions, and contractual requirements.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tenders and meet strict submission deadlines.
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
