Operations Consultant (Cost Reduction /
DTV)
Position Overview
We are seeking 1- 2 dynamic Supply Chain & Operations Consultants with 4 to 10 years of
experience to lead critical cost reduction and supply chain transformation initiatives for a
premier Tractor/OEM manufacturer.
This is an immediate-start, 12-month contract role requiring a hands-on, problem-solving
professional with a strong background in automotive/OEM operations, procurement, or Design
to Value (DTV).

Primary Location: Hoshiarpur, Punjab (~2 hours from Amritsar)
Work Model: 5 days/week on-site at client location. (Open to candidates based in
Delhi/NCR or Mumbai willing to travel/relocate in office)
Start Date: Immediate
Compensation: Competitive / Commensurate with experience
Key Responsibilities
Cost Reduction & Optimization: Identify, drive, and execute cost reduction modules
across supply chain, operations, and procurement function for tractor manufacturing
operations.
Design to Value (DTV): Apply DTV/VAVE principles to analyze product costs,
streamline manufacturing/sourcing drivers, and uncover value-engineering opportunities.
Supply Chain & Logistics Transformation: Assess and optimize end-to-end supply
chain processes,



logistics networks, and inventory management.
Project Execution & Stakeholder Management: Own project workstreams, collaborate
directly with client leadership and plant teams, and drive change management on the
ground.

Problem Solving & Analytics: Structure complex operational problems, perform
data-driven analysis, and present actionable recommendations to executive
stakeholders.
Candidate Profile & Qualifications
Industry & Functional Expertise:
Industry Experience: Strong preference for Auto / OEM (preferably 2W, 4W, or
Commercial Vehicles/Off-Highway Equipment like Tractors). Exposure to Supply Chain &
Logistics is required.
Functional Background: Deep experience across supply chain, operations, logistics,
procurement, operational transformation, or Design to Value (DTV).
Required Skills & Mindset:
Consulting Experience: Prior experience in management/operational consulting, or
project-based transformation roles, is highly preferred.
Problem Solving: Exceptional analytical and structured problem-solving skills; ability to
navigate plant floor operations and corporate strategy seamlessly.
Execution Focus: Pragmatic, results-oriented attitude with a track record of
implementing tangible cost-saving initiatives.
Mobility: Must be willing to be on-site at Hoshiarpur, Punjab, for 5 days a week.
