Job Title: DevOps Engineer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our agile team. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable DevOps pipelines and infrastructure. You will play a crucial role in optimizing our development and deployment processes, ensuring the reliability and performance of our applications and services.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for various applications and microservices.

Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.

Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on Azure ensuring scalability, security, and cost-efficiency.

Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Having used ECS or EKS, or similar tools in the past is a plus.

Strong notions of security best practices (e.g. using IAM Roles, KMS, etc.).

Experience with the serverless approaches using Lambda is a plus. For example, the Serverless Application Model (SAM).

Previous exposure to large-scale systems design. Ability to troubleshoot distributed systems.

Experience in Deployment on production and down stage environments like Dev, QA/Test.

Experience with building or maintaining cloud-native applications.

Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes and increase automation.

Monitor system performance and reliability; troubleshoot and resolve issues proactively.

Implement best practices for security,



compliance, and reliability across all systems and environments.

Mentor junior team members and contribute to the overall knowledge sharing within the team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience.

7+ years of experience in a DevOps or similar role, with a strong background in software development and systems administration.

Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, or similar.

Good background in Linux/Unix administration

End-to-end production deployment ownership

DevOps practices in Azure and GCP environments

AI application deployments and integrations

Modernization projects involving AI-enabled solutions

Deployment automation, monitoring, and operational excellence

Deep understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI).

Expertise in managing cloud environments (Azure) and infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).

Strong knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack, Datadog).

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with microservices architecture and serverless computing.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.
