Role & responsibilities

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Performing physical exams on patients, including checking for signs of disease, trauma, or other medical conditions

2. Onsite monitoring BP. ECG of beneficiary with the help of paramedical staff.

3. Diagnosing patients' medical conditions and providing them with treatment plans to treat their conditions

4. Writing/submitting (online) reports about patient examinations and diagnoses, which can be used in post camp activity for generation of patient/beneficiary health index.

5. Providing counseling or other psychological services to patients with mental health issues

6. Teaching patients about their condition and how to manage it

7. Providing advice about preventative health care practices such as diet and exercise

Maintaining records of patient visits and treatment plans in order to track patient progress

9. Oversee the provided health care at Camp, ensuring it meets the individual needs of Camp Staff and campers.

10. Be particularly alert to conditions that affect health, safety, sanitation.

11. Work in conjunction with the Council Physician and local emergency services.

12. Ensure Camp Staff orientation session is delivered on medical services. Train Camp Staff about their role related to health care and first aid.

13. Organize and maintain a treatment information center at each Camp.
