Job Summary

As a System Engineer – TCMS Coupling, Lighting & Ancillary Functions,



you will be responsible for development and integration of coupling, lighting, and ancillary functionalities within the Train Control & Management System (TCMS). You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, reliable, and efficient train operation across rolling stock platforms.

Your Roles & Responsibilities
- Define and develop coupling, lighting, and ancillary functionalities within TCMS architecture.
- Develop operation logics related to train coupling/decoupling, train line activation, interior/exterior lighting, emergency lighting, and ancillary train functions.
- Alignment with component suppliers and development of RArS, SWrS, interface documents, and test specifications.
- Define communication interfaces with onboard subsystems using MVB, Ethernet, WTB, or TRDP protocols.
- Develop fault handling, diagnostics, alarm management, and operational monitoring concepts for coupling, lighting, and ancillary systems.
