Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Site Safety In-Charge to oversee and manage all safety and HSE activities at the project/site. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe working setting and compliance with applicable safety standards, procedures, and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct regular site safety inspections and identify unsafe acts and conditions.
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and applicable HSE regulations.
- Monitor PPE compliance and safe working practices.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and safety awareness training.
- Monitor high-risk activities including work at height, hot work, lifting operations, scaffolding, excavation, and electrical work.
- Ensure proper implementation of Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly safety reports and inspection records.
- Investigate accidents, incidents,



and near misses and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate emergency preparedness, fire safety, evacuation drills, and first-aid arrangements.
- Coordinate with contractors, supervisors, engineers, and management to resolve safety issues.
- Immediately stop unsafe work where there is a serious risk to workers or property.
- Maintain HSE documentation, checklists, registers, and statutory records.
- Promote a strong safety culture across the site.

Qualification & Experience

- Diploma/Degree in Safety, Industrial Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant safety certification such as NEBOSH/IOSH will be an advantage.
- Relevant experience in construction, commercial buildings, infrastructure, or facility projects.
- Good knowledge of site safety procedures, risk assessment, and incident investigation.
- Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
