Role & responsibilities :

- 3-5 Years of good design experience in complete Seat and integration
- Solid Knowledge of Automotive Seating System
- Experience and awareness of AIS, FMVSS, ECE, EURONCAP, regulations applicable for vehicle collision, Interior Impact, and flammability of interior materials.
- Engineering feasibility check of styling surface.
- Hands on experience on surfacing/solid modeling/Drawing creation in CAD / UGNX/CATIA software.
- Understanding of the design tools like DFMEA, and DFM-DFA.
- Knowledge of GD&T; application on plastic parts & tolerance stack-up analysis

Good presentation and communication skills.

Preferred candidate profile :

- Be responsible for the CAD design and development of Seating system components in UGNX and CATIA V5
- PLM Change management (Data Management and Release).
- Proposal Creation, 3D/2D creation, review,

- Planning drawing creation- layout creation i.e. safety, comfort, environment
- 3D ASM integration
- Ensure data is up to date and reflects the required levels of maturity at any given point in time.
- PLM Teamcenter Handling for Release Processes.
- Provide CAD support, leading and progressing the design in line with the program timescales and deliverable cadence
- Should be able to generate Master sections
- To check and manage clearance to interface parts.
- Support pre-production builds (both virtual and physical)
- Ability to work kinematics & DMU tool.
- Ensuring that the all project deliverables are met on time.
