- Developing and implementing age-appropriate art curricula and lesson plans aligned with educational standards and student interests.
- Introducing students to diverse art concepts, techniques, styles, and mediums, such as drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, textiles, and digital art.
- Integrating art history, theory, and criticism into the curriculum to deepen students' understanding and appreciation of art.
- Designing projects that encourage creativity, exploration, and self-expression, allowing students to develop their unique artistic voices.

Preferred candidate profile :

- Required: Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field.
- Preferred: Master's degree in Art Education or Fine Arts, or relevant specialized training.
- Certification: State certification or license in Art Education is often a requirement.

Experience:

- Required:2-5 years of experience teaching art, preferably in a K-12 or community education setting.
- Preferred:Experience in curriculum development, program management, and with diverse student populations.

Artistic Skills & Knowledge:

- Proficiency: Demonstrated skills in various art mediums (e.g., painting, drawing, sculpture, digital art).




- Art History: Knowledge of art history and various art movements.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with art software and tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Procreate).

Interpersonal & Soft Skills:

- Communication:Excellent verbal and written communication skills for instruction, feedback, and interaction with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Interpersonal:Strong ability to connect with students, build rapport, and create a positive learning setting.
- Creativity:Ability to inspire and motivate students, fostering their creativity and artistic expression.
- Patience & Empathy:Essential for working with diverse learners and addressing individual needs.
- Adaptability:Ability to adjust teaching methods and curriculum to meet different learning styles and needs.
