Location/Hours: Remote, Monday-Friday US-based hours (9AM-6PM US Eastern Time)

Overview

We are seeking a highly technical Infrastructure Architect with hands-on experience leading Active Directory migrations, domain controller upgrades/replacements, PowerShell automation projects, and VMware or Hyper-V migrations.

This role is intended for highly technical engineers and architects deployment, implementation, and migration experience, NOT only day-to-day support.

Role & responsibilities

- Lead Active Directory modernization and migration projects.
- Upgrade and replace Domain Controllers (Windows Server 2012/2016/2019/2022).




- Migrate and manage DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and FSMO roles.
- Develop advanced PowerShell scripts for automation, reporting, and infrastructure management.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex Active Directory replication and authentication issues.
- Create migration plans, implementation documentation, and rollout procedures.

Preferred candidate profile

- 10+ years of Windows Server administration experience.
- EXPERT experience performing AD, DNS, DHCP, and Domain Controller migrations.
- EXPERT experience in Windows Server administration and troubleshooting.
- EXPERT experience in Virtualization platforms (either VMware or Hyper-V).
- ADVANCED PowerShell scripting and automation expertise.
