Procure to Pay: Global Process Expert Invoicing & Accounts Payables Management

Core accountability:

1. Support the Service Delivery Unit through in depth process, technical & business knowledge

and technically enable operational excellence

1. Support transition of new service scope to the service delivery units by ensuring adherence to global standard operating procedures & tools and support with required change management
2. Designs, steers, and continuously improve global Invoicing & Accounts Payables Management processes, ensuring endtoend consistency and alignment with BASFs enterprise architecture.
3. Owns and steers the global Invoicing & Accounts Payables Management service product portfolio, including KPIs, controls, compliance requirements, and global service definitions to safeguard operational excellence.
4. Embeds and drives automation in sync with global IT-Roadmap, develops RPA and AIdriven solutions into processes to increase efficiency and reduce manual workload.
5. Ensures process readiness and integration for major transformation programs and system transitions (e.g. SAP S/4).
6. Act as design authority and sending-party representative to the India global hub.

Education:





- University degree in supply chain, procurement or business administration (accounting)
- Preferably Chartered or Certified Professional Accountant (relevant in India? Input from HR needed on market standard)

Working experience:

- More than 5 years experience working in Procurement, Finance or Supply Chain with at least 2 years in Invoicing & Accounts Payables Management
- Project management experience in implementing IT application solutions in the area of Purchase to Pay or Freight Cost Management

Technical & Professional Knowledge:

- Indepth knowledge and understanding of SAP(R3 and/or S/4) modules MM, FI, CO (for Freights)
- Strong knowledge in Invoicing & Accounts Payables Management processes
- Proven skills of end to end understanding and design thinking of P2P,

including all interfaces to all stakeholders, e.g. strategic procurement, supply chain

- Experience in global shared services transition or consolidation
- Solid stakeholder influencing and decision-making capability
- Knowledge and experience of MS office tools
