About the Role (read this carefully before applying)

This is not a comfortable corporate HR job. We are hiring a Head of HR to build our people function from the ground up into a world-class, data-driven, AI-powered HR organization, and that means real ownership: no large team to hide behind, no established processes to inherit, and direct accountability to the founders for outcomes, not activity.

We are looking for someone with a spine. You will be expected to drive change through the organization, push back on founders when the data says so, hold business leaders accountable on people decisions, and take unpopular calls when they are right for the company. If your instinct in conflict is to accommodate and wait, this role will break you; if your instinct is to fix what is broken and own the result, this is the best HR seat you will find at this stage of a company.

This role is NOT for you if:

- You want an established setup with defined processes and a large team
- You measure your work in policies published rather than outcomes delivered
- You need consensus before acting or avoid difficult conversations
- You are exploring "startup exposure" while keeping metro comfort intact

This role IS for you if:

- You want to build an HR function from scratch and put your name on it
- You run HR on numbers and models, and you already use AI tools daily
- You can stand your ground in a founder-led, high-speed environment
- You want your next 3 to 5 years to be the defining build of your career

Key Responsibilities

- Own end-to-end HR: talent acquisition, HR operations, payroll oversight, performance management, engagement, and compliance
- Lead seasonal workforce planning with data-backed manpower forecasting and rapid hiring execution aligned to kharif/rabi cycles,



with tight timelines and measurable targets
- Drive AI adoption across HR: AI-assisted sourcing and screening, chat-based candidate engagement, automated HR analytics and dashboards. We expect our HR function to run leaner and faster than conventional setups
- Build and own HR analytics: attrition cohort analysis, hiring funnel metrics, productivity and cost-per-hire dashboards reported monthly to founders
- Drive retention in high-volume teams (telecalling, inside sales, operations) through incentive design, manager capability, and career paths
- Ensure 100% statutory compliance across plant, warehouses, and offices (PF, ESIC, CLRA, Factories Act, S&E;)
- Design compensation and performance-linked incentive structures across tele-sales, operations, tech, and corporate roles
- Partner with founders on org design, leadership hiring, and culture
- Lead, mentor, and grow the existing HR/TA team

What We're Looking For

- MBA/PGDM in HR from a tier-1 institute (IIM, XLRI, TISS, SCMHRD, MDI, SIBM or equivalent), strongly preferred
- 12+ years in HR with at least 3 years heading an HR function or a large regional HR operation
- Demonstrably solid with numbers: workforce modelling, attrition analytics, funnel math, comp design. The selection process includes a live analytical working session
- Hands-on AI-tool orientation: you already use AI in your daily work and can show it, not just "open to learning"
- Experience with high-volume, target-driven workforces (tele-sales, operations, distribution). Corporate-only, process-only HR backgrounds will find this role a mismatch
- Working depth in labour compliance for plant and contract workforce
- Startup/SMB adaptability: lean budgets, small teams, high speed
- Based in or willing to relocate to Bhopal
