Position: Middle School English Teacher
Grade Level: Grades 68

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
- Teach grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, creative writing, literature, and communication skills.
- Develop lesson plans, worksheets, projects, and other learning resources.
- Assess students through assignments, tests, projects, presentations, and classroom activities.
- Provide constructive feedback and support students in improving their language skills.
- Encourage critical thinking, creativity, discussion, and independent learning.
- Maintain a positive, well-managed, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Identify students who need additional academic support and provide appropriate interventions.




- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress.
- Participate in staff meetings, school events, professional development, and extracurricular activities.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student progress.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in English, English Literature, Education, or a related field.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred/required depending on school regulations.
- Prior experience teaching middle school students is preferred.
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
- Good knowledge of English grammar, literature, and language-learning strategies.
- Familiarity with digital teaching tools and online learning platforms.
