Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented HR Compliance professional to manage statutory, labour-law, payroll and HR compliance activities across Shyamoli Paribahan Pvt. Ltd.

The role will ensure that all employees, contractual manpower, drivers, attendants, technicians and other workforce categories are managed in accordance with applicable labour laws, statutory requirements, company policies and compliance standards.

The position will also coordinate with HR, Payroll, Finance, Operations, contractors, consultants and government authorities to ensure timely completion of all compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Statutory & Labour Law Compliance

- Ensure compliance with applicable Central and State labour laws and regulations.
- Monitor compliance relating to PF, ESI, Professional Tax, Labour Welfare Fund, Gratuity, Bonus, Minimum Wages, Shops & Establishments and Contract Labour, wherever applicable.
- Ensure timely submission of statutory returns, challans, registers and other required documents.
- Maintain an updated statutory compliance calendar and ensure zero missed deadlines.
- Monitor changes in labour laws and communicate relevant requirements to management and HR teams.

2. Payroll Compliance

- Verify payroll-related statutory deductions and contributions.
- Coordinate with Payroll and Finance for timely deposit of PF, ESI, PT and other applicable statutory dues.
- Reconcile payroll data with statutory records and identify discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with applicable minimum wage and wage-related requirements.

3. Contractor & Vendor Compliance

- Monitor statutory compliance of manpower contractors and service providers.
- Verify contractor records relating to employee wages, attendance, PF, ESI, licences and statutory payments.
- Ensure contractors submit required compliance documents within defined timelines.
- Identify compliance gaps and coordinate with vendors for corrective action.

4. Audit & Inspection Management

- Prepare the organization for internal, external and statutory compliance audits.
- Maintain audit-ready HR and statutory records.
- Coordinate during labour department inspections and statutory authority visits.




- Prepare responses and supporting documents for notices, queries and inspections.
- Track audit observations and ensure timely closure of compliance gaps.

5. Employee Documentation

- Ensure proper maintenance of employee records, joining documents, employment contracts and statutory documentation.
- Monitor compliance throughout the employee lifecycle, including joining, transfer, payroll, leave and separation.
- Ensure employee records are accurately maintained in HRMS and other relevant systems.

6. Policy & Process Compliance

- Assist in developing and updating HR policies and SOPs in line with applicable laws.
- Conduct periodic compliance reviews of HR processes.
- Identify compliance risks and recommend corrective and preventive measures.
- Support implementation of new regulatory requirements and labour-law changes.

7. HR MIS & Reporting

- Prepare monthly HR compliance reports and dashboards for management.
- Maintain compliance trackers for branches, depots, offices and operational locations.
- Monitor pending compliance actions and escalate critical issues.
- Maintain proper documentation for management review and audits.

8. Government & External Coordination

- Liaise with relevant government departments, statutory authorities, labour inspectors, consultants and legal advisors whenever required.
- Coordinate with external compliance consultants for filings, inspections and statutory matters.
- Maintain proper records of notices, communications and statutory correspondence.

9. Compliance Training & Awareness

- Conduct awareness sessions for HR and operational teams regarding statutory requirements.
- Educate managers and supervisors about basic labour-law and HR compliance requirements.
- Ensure employees and contractors understand relevant company policies and statutory obligations.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in HR,



Business Administration, Labour Law, Commerce or a related field.
- Graduation in HR or qualification in Labour Laws/Industrial Relations will be preferred.
- 2-3 years of experience in HR Compliance / Statutory Compliance / Labour Law Compliance for Executive-level positions.
- Experience in transportation, logistics, manpower-intensive operations, manufacturing, infrastructure or similar industries will be preferred.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of Indian labour and statutory compliance requirements.
- Good understanding of PF, ESI, PT, LWF, Gratuity, Bonus, Minimum Wages and Contract Labour compliance.
- Knowledge of statutory portals and online filing processes.
- Strong MS Excel and MIS reporting skills.
- Positive documentation and record-management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work with multiple locations and large workforce populations.
- High attention to detail and strong follow-up skills.
- Ability to handle confidential employee and compliance information.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience managing compliance for large, multi-location or contract-heavy workforces will be preferred. Experience in handling compliance for drivers, attendants, technicians, field employees and outsourced manpower will be an added advantage.
