Role Responsibilities

- Requirements Analysis Documentation - Gather, analyse, and document business requirements through stakeholder engagement, creating detailed functional specifications, user stories, use cases, and maintaining requirements traceability matrices.
- Stakeholder Engagement Communication - Act as liaison between business users, traders, and technical teams to facilitate requirement clarification, conduct stakeholder meetings, and ensure business priorities are effectively translated to development teams.
- Data Analysis Reporting - Analyse trading data and business metrics using SQL and visualization tools to identify trends, create reports and dashboards, perform data validation, and provide insights for business decision-making.
- Testing Quality Assurance - Develop test plans and test cases, coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), document and track defects, and validate system functionality against business rules and regulatory requirements before production releases.
- Process Improvement Business Innovation - Identify process optimization opportunities, evaluate new tools for business value, participate in proof-of-concepts, recommend system enhancements, and stay current with financial technology trends and industry best practices.
- Trading Domain Expertise Regulatory Knowledge - Develop understanding of financial instruments, trading lifecycles, market operations, regulatory requirements (MiFID II, Dodd-Frank), ensure compliance,



and provide business context for technical feasibility assessments.

Mandatory Skill Set

- Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases.
- Proficiency in requirements management tools (JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps).
- Understanding of financial markets, trading instruments, and order lifecycles
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (MiFID II, Dodd-Frank, Basel III)
- Familiarity with trade lifecycle (pre-trade, execution, post-trade, settlement)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications
- Experience creating test scenarios and conducting UAT

Desired Skill Set

- Valuable to have understanding of trading systems architecture
- Good to have knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools.
- Good to have familiarity with testing tools
- Good to have experience in specific asset classes (equities, FX, fixed income, derivatives).
- Good to have knowledge of risk management and compliance processes.
- Good to have statistical analysis skills.
- Good to have experience with process optimization methodologies.
- Good to have ability to perform gap analysis and impact assessments
