Role & responsibilities

The Plant PPC Manager is responsible for converting the central production plan into an achievable, detailed plant production schedule and ensuring that production is executed on time, with the right materials, manpower and capacity.

The role will act as the key planning link between Central PPC, Production, Purchase, Stores, Quality and the Plant Head.

A. Production Planning

C. Material Availability

D. Capacity Planning

E. Inventory & Finished Goods

F. Coordination with Central PPC

G. Cross-Functional Coordination

Preferred candidate profile

* Experience in a multi-SKU manufacturing environment
* Food/frozen-food experience
* Experience with ERP/MRP implementation
* Experience coordinating with central PPC
* Exposure to S&OP;

* Highly organised
* Numbers-oriented
* Detail-oriented
* Strong in follow-up
* Proactive
* Assertive but cooperative
* Comfortable challenging production when schedules are not being followed
* Calm under pressure
* Strong at escalation and communication
