Reports To: Sales Manager / Director.

Job Summary

The sales Coordinator will be responsible for managing the complete sales coordination process, supporting the sales team, handling key customer accounts, preparing quotations, following up on inquiries, coordinating with suppliers and logistics, and ensuring excellent customer service. The role also includes mentoring junior coordinators and improving internal sales processes.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Coordination

- Handle customer enquiries received through email, phone, website, and exhibitions.
- Prepare quotations using company pricing policies.
- Follow up with customers for quotation status and order confirmation.
- Process customer purchase orders accurately.
- Coordinate with purchase, stores, dispatch, and accounts departments.

Customer Relationship

- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
- Coordinate with sales engineers regarding customer requirements.
- Resolve customer queries promptly.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction.

Order Management

- Monitor order status from enquiry to dispatch.
- Coordinate delivery schedules with customers.
- Track pending orders and communicate delays.





Documentation

- Prepare quotations, Proforma Invoices, Order Confirmations, Delivery Challans (if applicable), and sales reports.
- Maintain customer databases in ERP/Excel/CRM.
- Update pricing and product information.

Reporting

- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.
- Maintain enquiry conversion reports.
- Track pending quotations and outstanding orders.

Preferred Experience

- 5-10 years in Sales Coordination, preferably in Industrial Products, Engineering, Manufacturing, Bearings, Belts, Automation, or Machinery industries.

Educational Qualification

Graduate in Commerce, Engineering, or Business Administration. (Might consider under graduates with relevant experience).
