About the role:

We are looking for a cloud engineer to help operate and maintain production environments across Azure and Google Cloud Platform. Azure is managed primarily through the portal and standard change processes today. GCP is managed through Terraform and automated deployment pipelines. You will work alongside senior cloud engineers and coordinate with application owners, finance, security, and IT through ticketing, chat, and documentation.

What you will do:

Azure operations:

- Operate and maintain subscriptions, resource groups, and production services
- Handle intake from tickets and engineering requests: provisioning, access changes, networking updates, lifecycle tasks, and vendor advisory remediation
- Manage compute lifecycle: VM builds and decommissions, OS migration support, patching coordination, and cleanup of unused resources
- Support data and integration workloads: storage, event streaming, data integration services, and connections to external analytics and warehouse platforms
- Handle identity and access work in Microsoft Entra ID: role assignments, managed identities, service principals, app registrations, and certificate renewals
- Document changes, follow approval workflows, apply cost and ownership tags, and coordinate with security on compliance items

GCP operations:





- Contribute to Terraform-based infrastructure changes through code review and pull requests
- Support networking, project provisioning, IAM, and shared platform services
- Execute operational tasks aligned with existing pipelines and platform standards
- Help maintain consistency between documented standards and live environment state

What we are looking for

Required:

- 5+ years of hands-on cloud operations in production environments
- Production experience with both Azure and GCP
- Robust Terraform experience: writing, reviewing, and applying infrastructure-as-code in shared team repositories
- Azure: virtual machines, virtual networks and private endpoints, blob storage, event hubs, data integration services, and SQL offerings
- GCP: core compute, networking, IAM, and project-level infrastructure
- Microsoft Entra ID: RBAC, managed identities, and app registrations
- Experience operating mixed estates: full IaC on one platform and portal-driven operations on another
- Comfort executing planned production changes: decommissions, migrations, connector upgrades, and vendor lifecycle advisories
- Clear written communication; able to work from tickets and documentation with minimal hand-holding

Preferred:

- CI/CD pipeline experience
- FinOps or cloud cost allocation experience
