Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SQL Database Administrator (SQL DBA) with strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server 2019/2022 to manage, maintain, optimize, and support mission-critical database environments

.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in database administration, high availability solutions, replication, performance tuning, backup and recovery, and database security in enterprise production environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, administer, and maintain SQL Server 2019/2022 environments across Production, QA, and Development.
- Manage and support SQL Server Always On Availability Groups and High Availability solutions. • • • • •
- • Managed and supported Microsoft SQL Server production environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability. Monitored database health, performance, disk space, and SQL Server services using SQL Server tools and monitoring solutions.
- Performed database backup, restore, and disaster recovery operations to ensure business continuity. Investigated and resolved production incidents, performance bottlenecks, and database-related issues within SLA timelines.
- Executed database maintenance tasks, including index rebuilding/reorganization, statistics updates, and integrity checks. Monitored SQL Server Agent jobs, scheduled tasks, and ETL processes,



resolving failures proactively.
- Worked on performance tuning by analyzing execution plans, identifying blocking/deadlocks, and optimizing queries.
- • Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Transactional Replication and other replication technologies. • Perform database backup, restore, disaster recovery, and maintenance activities.
- • Perform database patching, upgrades, migrations, and version management.
- Collaborate with application development and infrastructure teams to improve database performance and reliability.

• Implement monitoring and alerting solutions for proactive issue detection.

• Participate in production support and on-call rotation activities.

• Document database configurations, operational procedures, and disaster recovery processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a SQL Server DBA.

• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2019 and/or 2022.

• Expertise in Always On Availability Groups.

• Hands-on experience with Transactional Replication.

• Robust understanding of SQL Server architecture and database internals.

• Advanced knowledge of Performance Tuning and Optimization.

• Expertise in T-SQL programming, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
