Roles and Responsibilities :
- Assist students in using computers, software applications, and other digital tools for academic purposes.
- Provide technical support to faculty members on various IT-related issues.
- Maintain the inventory of computer equipment and peripherals in the lab, ensuring proper functioning and upkeep.
- Troubleshoot minor hardware and software problems independently or escalate them to senior staff as needed.
Job Requirements :
- 1-10 years of experience as a Computer Lab Assistant/Technician or related field.
- Robust knowledge of computer operating systems (Windows/Linux) and basic programming languages (e.g., Python).
- Excellent communication skills with ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to troubleshoot common technical issues independently or seek guidance from supervisors when necessary.
