Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Software Engineer to lead the architecture, design, development, and optimization of large-scale distributed systems and analytics platforms.

In this role, you will build scalable, highly available data infrastructure and real-time analytics capabilities that support critical OCI services. You will guide complex technical initiatives from initial design through production deployment, influence architectural direction, and promote engineering excellence across the organization.

You will collaborate with software engineers, architects, product managers, designers, customers, and other stakeholders to translate business and customer requirements into secure, resilient, and high-performance solutions. You will also mentor engineers and strengthen development practices across architecture, coding, testing, automation, observability, and operations.

Responsibilities

- Architect, design, and develop scalable, highly available distributed systems, cloud-native applications,



and analytics platforms.
- Lead technical design discussions, architecture reviews, and implementation decisions for complex, large-scale systems.
- Build and optimize data infrastructure and near-real-time analytics capabilities that process large volumes of infrastructure and business data.
- Drive service reliability, performance, security, and operational excellence through automation, observability, testing, and continuous improvement.
- Lead complex, cross-functional engineering initiatives from requirements and architecture through production deployment.
- Conduct design and code reviews, establish engineering standards, and promote secure coding and software development best practices.
- Mentor and coach engineers, helping teams strengthen their technical judgment, execution quality, and system-design capabilities.
