Job Purpose

The HR Manager ensures the business is staffed with top-tier creative, technical, and operational talent capable of executing flawless, high-pressure luxury events or custom bridal wear. Because the wedding industry operates heavily on seasonal peaks and tight deadlines, this role balances full-time talent retention with massive contract/freelance manpower management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Talent Acquisition & Headhunting (The Creative & Technical Hunt)

For the Planning Side (Agency): Recruiting event coordinators, hospitality managers, RSVP specialists, show runners, graphic designers, and entertainment liaisons.

For the Production/Couture Side (Darzi): Scouting and hiring skilled artisans—master cutters (_masters_), embroidery specialists (_karigars_), fashion merchandisers, and fabric sourcers.

Building a vast database of verified freelancers, temporary on-site laborers, and specialized vendors to scale up operations overnight during the peak wedding season (_Saaya_ dates).

2. Workforce Scheduling & Seasonal Planning

Managing a flexible workforce.



The HR manager must forecast labor needs months in advance based on the agency’s wedding calendar.

Implementing shift structures that prevent burnout for in office execution teams who often work 18-24 hour shifts during multi-day destination weddings.

3. Employee Relations & Crisis Management

Serving as the grounding force for teams working under immense pressure. When a client loses their temper over a minor detail or a major operational hitch happens on-site, HR steps in to manage staff morale and resolve conflicts.

Ensuring clear communication and code of conduct expectations between elite clients and ground-level workers/artisans.

4. Compensation, Incentives & Payroll

Structuring competitive base salaries combined with per-event bonuses or peak-season incentives to retain top performers.

Managing complex payroll formats that include monthly salaries for core staff, daily wages for artisans
